Using Microsoft Excel...need help with formula?

Question

Does anyone know the formula wording for "a given value"?

What I need is something that would allow me to type in a value in a column, and have that column automatically multiplied by .0825.

Any help appreciated. Thanks :)

I need a formula that will give me any value i input plus 8.25% of the value

for example:

(given value)*.0825+(given value)

so i were to enter 100 into my formula
it would be (100)*.0825+100=108.25

in row A put this in column 2

=A1*.0825

Then hold your mouse over the bottom right corner of A2 until you see a little plus sign. Click and hold the plus and drag down. The formula will copy to each of the column 2 cells you highlight and automatically change the A to whatever row it's in

=B1*.0825
=C1*.0825
etc...
