can anyone recommend a specific brand to buy, i am allergic to dust mites. in the past i bought an allergy cover for my mattress that wasn't so great. but i had one years ago that was amazing... any suggestions for good brands? thanks!

Just make sure it is truly airtight. Read the labels on the various types. Maybe do some research online and see which ones are best.

Don't forget to keep your room clean, nothing that can collect dust in your room, no drapes or stuffed animals, carpeting etc...otherwise it's pointless having a mattress cover. You should also have a pillow cover which is probably more important and buy a pillow which is non-allergic as well. And no feathers or down on your bed!!
