I have sit and read daily how bad President Bush is...but ya know what....most will get picked by the draft when it rolls around and they gonna be so busy serving the country or runnin cuz they scared...... politics will be less important and they will see there's a fine line in the fine art of survival....Has anyone considered how seriously this attitude is bothering our soldiers our hero's

Our Country's security is at risk..they walked in here not once but twice and did their damage and seems all some think is we should ignore the families who hurt the most over it and pretend it didn't happen while bashing the President cuz some don't understand or really care.....

And if we don't stop or try to control now...hey they'll just invade us here and all these crybabies liberals who think they know whats best will be saying HOLY CRAP! The Generals on the ground in Iraq who have years of military experience disagree with the President , they are responsible for their men . The president is unwilling to listen to them , the troops would side with their Generals before they will Bush because they know what kind of situation they are in and care about the men . Bush isn't going to lose a son or daughter there.

I served already and earned the national defense medal , believe me you have nothing to tell me about patriotism ! Nor the other fine people here .

You really should get your facts straight before posting. It makes you look uninformed.

Here are a few links that may help you.

You call other people unpatriotic, yet you totally destroyed the English language in your own post.

There is a link to help you with that to.

P.S. Hussein was not involved with the attacks on 9/11

This is 2007. Alot has changed between now and then.

The definition is accurate. You have to understand that not everyone expresses it the same. I am not you, you are not me.

Again outdated material. Not to mention that it is NOT a fact, rather the opinion of a conservative group. That does not make it a fact. It is a biased opinion.

You need to back up your post with something that is unbiased, from a reputable source. Not material that is over 3 years old.

UPDATE:

Could it be the way you presented yourself by attacking another group?

"all these crybabies liberals who think they know whats best will be saying HOLY CRAP! "

"The world has become one cold hearted place as I have seen in this....

What do you call your behavior?

You have to accept the fact that not everyone will think or believe the way you do. That is the great thing about this country. We are all different. Makes it kind of interesting, doesn't it?

We have the freedom to disapprove of any president that we feel is not doing their job. It doesn't mean that we don't support the troops.

So before you go judging other people that do not share you beliefs, take a long hard look in the mirror. Then ask yourself "Am I being a hypocrite?"

First off, Bush isn't a soldier, much less a hero. He had his chance and went AWOL. Second, I won't get picked for the draft, because I already did my time, and I have the titanium rods and the shrapnel that couldn't all be removed still in my body to prove it. Thirdly, I hate Bush. Did when I was active duty. Didn't bother me much then.

Also, and try to read this slowly, so you can understand it, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. They NEVER attacked us. In fact they were our allies, until they attacked a country that supplied us with oil.

So, I am a Patriot. i ent voluntarily and joined the Marines. I vote in every election and participate in the civic process of politics. And since when is not blindly following the government unAmerican or unpatriotic? Remember Thomas Jefferson? George Washington? Those guys? you know, the PATRIOTS who went against the government and founded our great nation on the principles of freedom, including the right to disagree with the President?

Before I get started, I will say this: I am a soldier, and have been to Iraq twice. Supporting the president is NOT the same as being patriotic. Not supporting this war does NOT make you a terrorist. The Iraq war is a misguided attempt at trying to meddle in another culture that we do not fully understand. If we could understand it, we would understand why people will willingly and gladly strap a bomb to themselves and blow themselves up. We would understand why they do this in a crowded playground filled with children. This actually happened this last time I was there, I had to treat all the children that were hurt. Dialogue is what makes our country so unique. As soon as you start labeling people terrorists, or other derogatory things for standing up for what they believe in, we become no better than the various communist regimes or dictatorships of history.

What universe are ya'll living in, or are you just high?

Even Bush himself admitted that there is no connection between the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and Saddam Hussein. Repeat, no connection between 9/11 attacks and Hussein and the Iraq War.

But anybody who substitutes "patriotism" for actually knowing something about what's going on is a lost cause for an argument. Just go back to watching Faux News, listening to Rush and Hannity, and dreaming the beautiful dream that Bush has any more clue than you do.

[in response to your update]

The USA Today article proved nothing. Quote: the judge" 'barely' established a link between al-Qaeda and Iraq but offered enough proof to persuade a 'reasonable jury.' " The fact that one judge and one jury were convinced of this is far and away from providing any real, substantive link. Are any of these guys Middle Eastern intelligence experts? More to the point, if the proof is there, why hasn't anyone ever been talking about this? It should be a simple matter. Every time somebody (like president Bush) says there was no connection between 9/11 and Iraq, media people who believe this can just cite this case. But no one anywhere has, because they all know it's insubstantial proof, otherwise they would be.

Unlike the USA Today story, the second article is from an obviously right-wing partisan source. It's would be like if I was trying to prove something to you relying on an article from The Nation, Mother Jones, or one of the leftie blogs on the internet. The arguments made are off the wall. If somehow they can speculate as to how money might, hypothetically, allegedly be somehow traced from Iraq to al-Qaeda, well then case closed. There was no hard evidence cited. That's the sorriest excuse for proof next to that "barely established link" from the first article.

If patriotism means excusing the unexcusable, not holding those in power to responsible, truthful leadership, then forget it. This is supposed to be a country "of the people, by the people, for the people." Americans aren't supposed to be like peasants unquestioningly believing and obeying anybody in authority. Govenment officials sometimes lie to fool the people into supporting their agendas. That's a fact. And again, if Bush himself admitted that there is no connection between 9/11 and Iraq, as you can read from my link, how can you ignore that?

You are really really confused. Here are some facts.
1) No connection between Iraq-911.
2) Bush CHOSE to go to war, against a country with no real military, that was absolutely no threat to the U.S.
3) More than 3000 Americans killed in the war.
4) Decision to invade Iraq was called for in the Project for a New American Century written by key Bush advisors, including Cheney, while Bill Clinton was President. Authors of PNAC said it would take "a new Pearl Harbor" to build support for a war against Iraq.
5) The war in Iraq so far has cost us about a half trillion dollars. Estimates are that it will cost upwards of 2 trillion by the time it's done. Before the invasion, VP Cheney was predicting we'd be out in 6 weeks. We've now been in longer than we were in World War II.
6) Bush's war has done nothing but destabilize the Middle East, lessen our security and the security of those countries we call friends. At the same time he's already planning to invade Iran.
7) At almost no point in this whole process has anyone in the Bush Administration told the truth. Now they ask us to take it on faith that their expansion of the war will achieve desired aims, even while most military planners interviewed since Bush's speech are predicting a dire outcome.

Saddam Hussain had NOTHING to do with 9/11/01...NOTHING. you need to get that fact thru your thick crybaby conservative skull.

The american people were crybabies on 9/11/01...on that day.the US government got the same medicine they have been dishing out for years SNEAKY...BOMBING.

Imperial America bombs the hell outa eveyone ..YET when a measely 3000 Imperial american BRATS get killled it is CRYBABY time. Poor america ...our people are so innocent.

Your sick nation killed 3.5 million Vietnamese in that war...for nothing. You were defeated because the american people are arrogant, rotten hearted and inferior. Crybaby americans are still whining about the 58 K lives lost in that war.

Did it ever occur to you that the USA RICHLY deserved 9/11/01? Our innocent people are no less innocent than the MILLIONS we have killed in our bombings

We bomb innocent civilians....therefore our people should be bombed as well. We live by the SWORD and by the SWORD shall we die.

You looking for the enemy there...Rambo? Try Washington DC.....that is the most evil piece of real estate on this planet.

Make no mistake...the USA will get it's rotten teeth smashed out in IRAQ...or IRAN...that is just the way it is gonna be.

The USA faces the greatest enemy it has ever faced...ITSELF.

God does not bless your nation....Greed is what the USA is.

Fact is Iraq would be better off and so would the whole middle east if Bush had let sleeping dogs lay. As for security I fail to see how getting near 4,000 killed and 8 times that disablde at the cost of 400 billion suggests to you that you are now secure.

The idea that if your against Bush and his ill conceived invasion of Iraq.you are against the troops is false!..America is a Democracy and democracies can only survive where decent and debate is allowed..This is what our constitution guarantees us and this is what all Presidents and soldiers vow to defend..
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and that was not the reason Bush gave for the invasion!
