Trains. But you don't often hear about train crashes, because most such are freight trains and often little damage is caused.

Planes and trains have about the same fatality rate-

(deaths/ billion passenger miles)
Amtrak 0.88
Planes 0.87
Autos 11.7

The Federal subsidy for each mode is
Govt Subsidies $1 B AMTRAK
$16 B Planes
$32 B Auto

So why are THEY trying to get us killed by driving?

planes, trains always crash into cars though, and from time to time into each other. but id say that planes crash more
