because Catholic theology had already covered and answered each question that anyone could ever think of asking. but sadly, only Catholics who know the Catholic Doctrines by heart can answer questions well about the Church and its Dogmas.

Protestants being thus impious enough to make liars of Jesus Christ, of the Holy Ghost, and of the Apostles, need we wonder if they continually slander Catholics, telling and believing worse absurdities about them than the heathens did? What is more absurd than to preach that Catholics worship stocks and stones for gods; set up pictures of Jesus Christ, of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and other saints, to pray to them, and put their confidence in them; that they adore a god of bread and wine; that their sins are forgiven by the priest, without repentance and amendment of life; that the pope or any other person can give leave to commit sin, or that for a sum of money the forgiveness of sins can be obtained ? To these and similar absurdities and slanders, we simply answer: "Cursed is he who believes in such absurdities and falsehoods, with which Protestants impiously charge the children of the Catholic Church. All those grievous transgressions are another source of their reprobation."
"But what faith can we learn from these false teachers when, in consequence of separating from the Church, they have no rule of faith? ... How often Calvin changed his opinions! And, during his life, Luther was constantly contradicting himself: on the single article of the Eucharist, he fell into thirty-three contradictions! A single contradiction is enough to show that they did not have the Spirit of God. "He cannot deny Himself" (II Timothy 2:13). In a word, take away the authority of the Church, and neither Divine Revelation nor natural reason itself is of any use, for each of them may be interpreted by every individual according to his own caprice ... Do they not see that from this accursed liberty of conscience has arisen the immense variety of heretical and atheistic sects? ... I repeat: if you take away obedience to the Church, there is no error which will not be embraced.

hi, Elton. there are various sturdy solutions from many knowledgeable Catholics here, and so i'm going to purely answer #6. Catholics belong to the only and purely Church that Jesus started, in variety of 30 advert. this gives Catholics an apostolic connection--Catholic leaders have been appointed by different Catholic leaders, going all of the some time past to Peter, who exchange into appointed by Jesus. at a similar time as there are various different priceless Christian companies, a number of which call themselves church homes, the Catholic Church (and probably the Orthodox) is the sought after-day embodiment of the unique and purely Church. the unique and purely Church wrote and chosen the scriptures interior the hot testomony Bible. thus, the Church that did the writing and the call of scriptures has the appropriate memory for what they recommend. Many Protestants don't understand innovations like Holy Communion (John 6) or being born returned in baptism (John 3) simply by fact they don't have the authoritative interpretation from the human beings who studied with Jesus. they are merely taking a gamble from the ambiguous words preserved in scripture. finally, purely the Catholic Church, by apostolic authority, can administer the sacraments Jesus designed for nourishing existence in Christians. those not ordained have no authority to utter the "telling prayers" to which God responds by changing bread and wine into the physique and blood of Christ. Too, purely those with the authority given in the process the apostles can absolve you of your sins.

So what? exactly is Catholic theology? Based on what?
Do you mean the religion that actively promotes Idolotry? ie: Bowing before graven images statues Worshiping Crosses, crucifixes praying to unworthy sources ie The (so called saints) Mary worship(She was NOT the mother of God ) That is blasphemous God is the alpha and the Omega no beginning and no end, Yes she was blessed in the fact God chose her to bear his Son as a Human that does not make her worthy of Worship! Remember: Have no other Gods Except thyself! oh yes and there is Roman Catholic history. The Crusades, The Spanish Inquisition (I could go on but track down a book called Fox's Book of Martyrs) Burning People alive for daring to suggest that the bible should be translated Corrupt Popes ,The borgias Nazi appeasement ie turning a blind eye when millions of Jews were being exterminated .Cover ups over Paedo cases .Unscriptureal Doctrine ie Purgatorry ,Try looking that one up in the bible Original sin IE sex (What?) go forth and multiply I recall. I could on for ever. NOW tell me, If God Is perfect How on earth could This Murderous and Corrupt Organisation DARE to Call itself His Church, '' By your fruits you shall be known''

Atheists ask questions that apply to Christianity quite a bit, but remember that Catholicism is a form of Christianity. When atheists question the Old Testament, they're also questioning the Jewish. It *is* interesting that they aren't questioning the Hindi or Muslims as much, but that's probably because the Western World is so steeped in a Judeo-Christian background, that's what we know best.

Alright, but remember that you literally asked for this...
1. Why do you swallow whatever the Pope spits out as opposed to actually thinking for yourself?
2. What is so immoral about condoms and birth control pills? Who is being hurt? Before you say "because God said so" and give me a Bible quote, read the context of the quote and reread my first question.
3. Why does your religion promotes discrimination against homosexuals and why is it led by a former member of the Hitler Youth?
Watch this get reported...but you did ask for it.

You want a catholic question? Okay.
How can you call yourself a monotheistic? That whole trinity thing reeks of polytheism. The Hindus believe that all their gods are connect as one, the same concept of the trinity, but they are considered a polytheistic religion by western standards.

We question the existence of God. I'd say that's pretty intrinsic to any Christian faith be it Protestant or Catholic.
