I am an Army ROTC student and I am going to be commissioned in May after I graduate. I was thinking about waiting until after the ceremony and while I have my uniform on, i'll propose. What do girls think about that and what do they think about marrying military guys in general.

it sounds very romantic and unforgettable. military guys make good partners because they understand commitments, responsibilites and will always make you feel safe and taken care of even when they're away.

Most girls want to be with a guy who is thoughtful and who listens to them. Beyond that, it's pretty much a matter of taste. Some like roses, other like parachuting, some like both.
What is your girl like -- what do you do together for fun now? Plan your day so that whatever you do now gets ramped up about 100%. Creative, memorable, sincere, something to surprise her. Couples who spend time walking on the beach -- she should walk up to a sandcastle with him standing beside it. Now make it all your own.
As for military guys in general, if they think they must be in command of all things, and that a family must be run with military efficiency, that sometimes becomes too rigid. In this matter, again, take some cues from her. But those crisp uniforms are definitely attractive, and the brave hearts are hot.

I am to be married in July of this year. I think this way to propose would be very romantic. I love being engaged and preparing for our wedding. Marrying someone in the military would be different. I know someone who adapts to it very well, her and her husband have been married for 17 years. There is a lot of moving from place to place, but they are together. They're in love with each other.

i been there done that i would be honest why don't you go to training an travel a bit keep talking an see others an if she is the one for you then go after her don't be a 17 18 year old that gets engaged an divorced at 20 because you have nothing in common beyond school an high school life. but if she is the one you truly see yourself getting gray with then anything will do make it fun an memorable for both of you

It doesn't matter what we think about marrying military guys - what does your gf think?
And the proposal has to fit your & her personality. Is she the type to expect a quiet romantic proposal or will she be okay being proposed to in a public place.

I think that in general women love a man in uniform, but it has got to be all about you! I mean she has to love you for who you are and want to marry you no matter what you are wearing at the wedding!

girls love a man in uniform, i think it would be cute. but then again, it could scare her thinking that since youre a military man, you have a chance of getting killed out there (not to sound mean or anything) but it could scare her too. it might even make her think a lot.

properly, i could prefer for the guy to signify than a woman. i think of that's plenty greater romantic. As for a girl to the theory, i think of is cool too. I merely questioning how imaginative or how complicated that's to signify to a guy from a woman's attitude.

YES! Propose to her while you're still in uniform. That is sexy.
Women as a general rule, find men that are brave and in the military rather sexy.
It's a scarey world we live in and we rely on people like you to keep all of us safe and warm. You are a walking symbol of heroism.
She'll love it. Trust me. I'm as feminine as they come and we find you guys sexy.
Propose to her in uniform and have flowers in your hand to give her.

well i think military guys are mad hot and them seem more responsible since they are in the army and proposing in your uniform sounds great
