do you have a rook piercing? im looking into getting on when i go out for the day on monday.
what was your experience?
did it take longer for the needle to go through compared to other piercings?
did you start out with a curved barvell or a captive bead ring? what looks better in your opinion and what is better for the healing process?? (i would think a curved braebell)?
did you have any complications?
how long did it take to heal?
how long was it sore for? (months) i have 2 cartilage piercings on each side of my ear (they are 3 months old) and are still sore when i wake up. (yes i got them done at a pierce studio! lol)

so what was your experience alltogether??

thank you! i know its alot of questiong but i cant find that much information about it on the internet. i dont know how ill make it through though. i thought my catilage piercings hurt alot.....lol i hear this is one of the more painful piercings next to tragus.. =)

thank you though~!

I have my left rook done.

I have a cbr which isn't the smartest idea since it sort of delays healing and isn't the easiest to clean but I was strapped for cash that day and couldn't afford the extra 10$ for the barbell.

It went through more skin going through my tragus than the rook. Easier than my cartilage (I have two cartilage on left ear).

Pretty fast healing since I used h2ocean faithfully. Though, still not completely healed. I've only had it for 2 months. I don't really suffer from this one.

It was over pretty quick once my piercer (professional only of course) figured out the dots.

i think of that piercings, whilst constrained to the ear o bellybutton, are very appealing....fantastically the rook piercing. In some approaches it is greater appealing than the traditional lobe piercing. So, a minimum of in case you have an activity in attracting me, i might say g for it! do purely no longer pierce the different area of your face...those piercings are definate turn offs

i had one. didn't hurt too bad. i've got tiny ears so the piercer nicked my anti tregus not badly though. curved barbell, if i got it again i would get a captive bead at first just for cleaning purposes. only downside was it migrated out almost a month to the day after i got it.
just go to an experienced piercer and they should do fine.
