i need a a relaxer bad but my hair is dirty too

You should definitely not wash it for at least a week (roughly 5 days or so) before getting a relaxer. If you do end up washing it a few days before your relaxer, be sure that you don't scrub your scalp as to not open the pores. Also, let your hair stylist know that you washed your hair prior to the process so she/he can better protect your scalp and prevent damage and pain.

Yes, wait 2 days to wash your hair after any straightening chemical treatment.

You're supposed to wait 2 days, but, i did that and it completely ruined my hair. So i suggest wait for 72 hours.
