you can improve your skills by reading lots of english novels +newspaper .And to talk in english as much as you can no matters if you becomes the laughing spot,your main focus should b how you can b more communicative.

first learn to spell correctly. then you can improve rather than imrove

Socilaise with more people. Ask heaps of questions. Learn to be a talker rather than a non talker

you should try talking to yourself in a mirror and see how you speak. learn the grammar and things like that , spelling maybe if you are chatting of writing a letter. but then the mirror thing helps me personally when i have to present or things like that. but most of all dont be nervous when you are talking to someone

read, watch TV with subtitles in English, also movies you might rent, listen to the radio 91.5 National Public Radio, talk to American people, try to learn and memorize irregular verbs.

Just don't fell shy when you are talking to any one,that you may commit any mistakes.Communicate only in English.
