well sounds to me like you're ungrateful and impatient. praising God just in hopes for payback is the wrong reasons for praise. God doesn't give you things that you want. He gives what you NEED. and be grateful. truly grateful for every gift. i've had the crappiest 7 years of my life beginning with my grandmother dying from cancer ending in my mother's death and a lot of financial struggle. now my son has mood disorder. but i'm not like oh woe is me poor me. instead i am grateful i have food to eat running water i have a car to drive a roof over my head i'm healthy my kids are healthy the small family i do have is one i can lean on and turn to. i have close friends i can rely on. there are so many people in this world with out many of these neccesities such as running water. some countries have water supply that's so vile they can't drink it or cook with it. sounds to me like you have your big day it's right in front of you you just aren't seeing it. some kids' parents don't even have enough money to buy them clothes mine didn't when i was a child my grandparents had to buy our clothes. but somehow my parents were able to make christmas happen every year. two weeks before christmas this year i had no money and yet i still knew some how God would provide and make it happen. and my kids had a great christmas i was able to pick up shifts at work made extra money got all my bills caught up a week and a half before christmas then my child support check and a big pay check came through right after that. i was able to go christmas shopping and my kids got most of the things they asked for. believe things will be ok. then they will be. following God is more than just praise. it's about faith. truly having faith.

God bless you and be encouraged! I know what you're going through (I wrestle with being down sometimes). The good news is that in God's presence there is joy (Psalm 16) -- so the question becomes how do we cultivate a relationship with Him?
A couple of suggestions: Share His love with others (especially within your own family) -- especially when they're not particularly lovable; Spend some quality time with Him (be open and honest with Him, listen to Him as He speaks to you through His Word).

There are no buts...GOD IS GREAT! I know how you feel. I mean, I grew up having a relationship with Christ, reading my Bible...and in a Christian household. We were poor if you looked at our income, (but rich in spirit). Things didn't seem to go well for us financially and in some other areas, but we were still taught to praise God. I asked ma why all the unbelievers were being blessed and we weren't like they were. But, you will see as you grow older, the pieces to the puzzle will come together. God has a plan for everything. He will turn things upside down. Things have changed and very fast. I am a teenager, but this is my last year. God progressed me very quickly academically, gave me a career offer that's very high in management... You gotta keep praising God, if you don't see anything big right now, keep praising God. It's big when you wake up and you see your Momma or your Daddy. It's big when you wake up yourself, because God gave you breath. It's big when you are living in your home, when your city is not flooded, when you have sight, not just physical, but spiritual (faith, vision)..... Think like that. Thank God for what you have. You have more than others. Great things are destined for you and I pray that God richly blessed you and that he saves you and your family and prospers all of you. I pray that good things will begin to happen for you, so that you can physically and spiritually see them. I pray that you appreciate God for who He is and that you can remain patient and look up to God. I pray that all is well with you and that you will appreciate each day as your big day. Live each die like it is your last. You never know when it will be. So, don't look to tommorow, live for today. Live right now. Choose joy right now. Joy is not happiness. Joy is in spite of the storm. In spite of what may be going on in your life praise him anyway. He has been good!!!

That last breath you took.
You have the internet so I can assume you have food, shelter, clothing...better off than 90% of the people on the planet.
You don't feel special? God became man and died for you. If you were the only person in history that would accept Him He still would have done it.
He has plans for you. You have plenty of time. Relax and enjoy.

Life with God is not an instant you wait for, but rather a journey you walk along the path of life with Him...there rarely any HUGE BIG DAYS, but rather a small and gradual and consistant steps of growth in love with Him...
If you are not even a teen yet, then I am sure you are doing fine thinking the way you do now...and pray and ask God to grant you His love, and grow loving Him day by day, and tell Him exactly how you feel and what you want to feel...and see what He will do with you.
May God bless these small and blessed feelings you have for Him, believe me, He will never ignore them.

What are you expecting him to do for you? I think that you need to take a look at your reason for being a Christian. It seems by your question that you are giving to get. Try doing things for him with no strings attached. I think it will open you eyes and you really should stop centering upon your 'feelings' as a guide for what God does in you life. Give freely, for he has given freely.

Do try to understand ... there is no such thing as god. Religion, all religion, is mad-made; invented.
Belief in a fairy-figure in the sky (or wherever) and an afterlife is all a HUGE lie.
You are sub-teen ... maybe you will see reality when it suddenly occurs to you but, from what I read of your 'question', you are already brainwashed/indoctrinated.
Just think back and analyse WHY you believe in a myth. Who told you? Why did you simply accept it as truth? Why, now, do you persist in blindly following the dogma set out for you by equally blind adults?
There is no more logical choice than a total disbelief in these lies. Atheism is growing fast among young thinkers. Become one?
Try www.godisimaginary.com IF you can handle some difficult questions which will test your chosen lifestyle.

hmmm. thats how it was for me. but you'll just keep on having to pray ALOT. it will eventually come. god loves you and is always listening to you-he promised to. but god has a wonderful plan for you in the future, and so dont give up your faith. god is real and jesus is his son! believe in them. im trying to tell you as simplest as the way i wanted to hear it when i wanted to know the answer to that same question i had when i was younger.
right now your young and you may not understand ALOT but you will if you keep up your faith in god. keep praying. god has given you alot for what you deserve right now- and it may not seem like he isn't but really he is. he gave you a home, family, shelter, food. without him- how do you think it happens that people happen you have EVERYTHINGG yjsy we need to servive. life can be without air-if god wasn't here. but since its so perfect-its proof he exists!
i love you- oh and im 14 so dont worry-it was only recently when i had that same question in mind
i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and god loves you too. i pray that he will show you the truth as you grow and you will come to him and take him as your savior.

I thank God for every breath I take. I also thank God that I have the means and resources that much of the world lacks. Consider yourself blessed that you at least have the freedom to browse the Internet.
