I don't want to sound deranged or anything but if I hear of something that I can't reasonably explain, I want to know why. So, here is the question. I have heard of prisoners in jail being beaten with bars of soap in a pillowcase, because it does not leave bruises. Is this true, and if yes, how is it possible?

Yes, you can also use oranges. More internal damage and no topical evidence.
Because the initial impact is absorbed as much by the weapon causing less broken surface vessels but the same amount of muscle and organ trauma.

only way to test this out is to let someone hit you a few times with a bar of soap in a pillowcase. After you do that, let us know how it went.

It possible it might not leave bruises, but ifa guy drops the soap in the shower, "that can leave many marks"......But as for the pillow case thing, its been said it does not leave bruises and even when you put a bar of soap in a sock and do the same thing.????????? Bu thave never been in that type of environment, just hearsay.

I doubt the reason if because it doesn't bruise. I think it makes about the only weapon with weight that they could use to beat someone. It sure doesn't leave any marks on the attacker. You're not using your fists to do the beating so their hands will not be bloody at all.

Soap or anything hard will leave bruises. If the people are hit on the head and they are not bald, their hair would cover their bruises.
