My war, Operation Desert Storm. The mission was largely unknown, and there was an expectation we would be bogged down and take a lot of casualties. With sufficient preparation and overwhelming firepower though, we smashed the Iraqi forces and suffered very very few casualties. Having a clear, defined end point and exit strategy enabled us to leave with our heads held high, the current Iraq conflict is more difficult and will require a virtual steamrolling of the country to crush the fighting before we can leave. We may never truly leave the middle east (Iraq) for the forseable future.

Since the Korean war was deemed a Police Action and the Viet Nam war was deemed a Conflict, I would have to say the French and Indian War had the fewest casualties, but that is my opinion

Well, Clinton's war against the Serbs had no American casualties, but the Albanians lost over 10,000 citizens (Men -women -and children) because the Serbs were allowed to run rampant in Kosovo. It seems, Clinton wouldn't allow American troops in to corral the Serbs and send them running back to Serbia with their tails between their legs. Instead they were allowed to kill and torture Albanians along the way because there wasn't anyone else to challenge their hideous behavior.
This is the legacy the democrats have given America, this and the war in Vietnam. These slimy, evil people believe they have the right to govern this country of ours with a legacy such as this? I think not!

The war with the fewest casualties where combat has actually taken place was the Gulf War/Operation Desert Storm (1991).

We won the "Cold War" and as far as I know there were very few casualties in that one. Though, it was more of a political war and not a conventional one.

anytime that one solider loses his life fighting for our country then I considered this a casualtie. But if I were guessing I would say that it was the Korean War.
