The final shade produced by toning can be changed by all of the following , except
a.Using a different developer
b.Diluting the toner
c.Changing the exposure time
d.Changing the developement time

Toner dilution for some toners will change the toning results,changing the exposure(print) time will lighten or darken the results, and changing the development time (by changing the print contrast) will also change the values in the print.
The developers used in the printing process are designed not to change the "tone" on the paper being used.
