My friend always places a raven feather and grass woven into a ribband under her pillow; is there any ritualistic meaning to this? She is wiccan, and a Spirit Shaker.

The Raven is the go between for the worlds. They carry the souls of the dead to the Other Side. She may be wishing to dream of a family member who has crossed over. Sweet grass braids are for cleansing and purification. :)

Hope this helps.

I don't know I've never studied Wiccan. But I do intend to do some reading on Wiccan soon. It sounds interesting.

That's called a dreamcatcher. It's suppose to catch the nightmares so she doesn't have them.
