Global warming has been going on for hundreds of thousands of years, ever since the last ice age. People associate global warming with carbon dioxide. There are many other gases in the atmosphere that affect global warming much more. These gases, however, are not as concentrated as concentrated as carbon dioxide. Millions of years ago, there were many more jungles and lush forests. This is because there was MORE carbon dioxide back then. Scientists think that within a couple of million years, the main types of plants will be thin and tall (like wheat)...Humans cause only about 2% of the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The rest is either natural or from animals.
The main cause of global warming is moisture in the atmosphere. There is no way to get rid of the moisture. The members of the Kyoto Accord are aware of that, but they decided to do something, so that people would think that they're affecting the environment.
If you're referring to how it has been unseasonably warm this winter, that's just a heat wave. Temperatures will drop again next winter. Another reason temperatures are so high is because several phenomena are occurring at the same time. It is rare for them to coincide during the same period, but when they do, the temperatures rise considerably. Global warming has not affected that.

the world's climate has been constantly changing over billions of years but the problem now is the huge human population on the planet which is adding to the natural changes. At times on this planet conditions have changed so that a species has died out, like the dinosaurs, and this could happen to us unless we work together and make the necessary changes so that we are not such a big part of the problem. Climate chang is happening now and has been for the last two or three decades but now seems to be gathering momentum. It is something we should be concerned about and use our energy and minds to try and find solutions.

WIth the earth's condition today, it is somewhat impossible to abolish global warming, more like decreasing is possible. unrefined gasoline contribute largely in global warming so unleaded gasoline is advisable. Burning plastics and using aerosols can also contribute to global warming. Only each and every person's cooperation can decrease global warming.

The Sun causes global warming. It actually burns hotter at different times. When the Sun cools down, it will cause another Ice Age. These cycles run over several thousand years. In the last hundred years, the Earth's temp is only up about 1 degree.
People don't make a big enough difference to worry about.

only developed nations does not abide by the requirements. they do aware of the consequences of global warming by emission of gases on the atmsphere, they do advise on developing nations and third world countries , not imposing regulations on their indutries, the reason of global warming are human and their rulers especially the most developed ones as they do not lend their ears to listen or correct their self and their indutries, most of all human to bother about their generations,
in simple words s can be compared to AIDS , which is also known and doing it and same no difference , not worried how this will affect the upcoming generations

Well, the US is one of the main causes of global warming because of the burning of fossil fuels. Watch AN INCONVIENT TRUTH, Al Gore's new movie, and write to congress. If they don't listen, run for congress. good luck! Oh yeah, and you can also get your community/school involved.

i dont think anyone knows what causes global warming.
I heard that cattle or livestock cause more global warming than all the people combined.
I think it's a natural thing.
Around here it seems to be a good thing. wamer winters is good, unless you ski or somethin
Besides, who cares?
