That would be a great show idea.....because even to them it would show in a nice simple way that Evolution is a FACT....From earlier shows you have heard them mention that evolution is part of the cornerstone of our existence....these guys are veyr much into facts and testing and so evolution is most definitely something they belive to their core....Technically its simple to show the idea of evolution as true by naturally selecting new strains of flies or bacteria and see how they change....

Evolution is the only thing that matches the fossils. Life started simple an got more complex over time. That can be determined by stratification alone. Any valid theory must explain the fossils. Creationism does not.
Further, why do you get a flu shot every year? The reason is the flu evolves each year to be resistant to last years shot. Otherwise you would only need one about every five years.

All they would have to do is look in the mirror and know they can't bust that myth.
We evolved, and denying science is ignorant with the proof we have accessible to us. God created an evolving Universe. Believing in evolution doesn't deny God, but honors His creation, as we seek to understand the world around us, which is our right.
Science is a gift God gave us through our evolving brain. That is why we have philosophy, and music, debate, art, theatre, self-awareness.... things that came to us due to an offshoot of a common ancestor, and an evolving brain over the span of millions of years.
We are products of evolution, and I am sure we will continue to evolve.

Shows like this have been done before, and most of the time, they cave in and take a middle-of-the-road approach, neither stating anything emphatically, or flatly denying anything. Can't really blame them. Religion is always a hot topic, and television shows live ans die by ratings. Most of the country is religious, hence most television viewers are religious. The last thing a network wants to do is piss off their loyal viewers, even at the risk of educating them!

wont happen. Why? It'll take too long. Their longest myth so far is does moss grow on rolling rocks. That took 6 months. And the result, not too good. The producers are aiming for, fast, easy, and HUGE rating. Like their new one with the Hindenburg. Quick, easy, and damn did the ratings spike when that blimp caught on fire!

Why don't you suggest it? I'm sure you could propose some sort of experiment and they'd be happy to carry it out. Rather than speculate about what would happen, take steps to make it happen.

They only do that with myths. Not strongly supported scientific theories with thousands of pieces of evidence. Maybe the big bang, that has a lot of fallacies to it, but macro-evolution, get real.....

I think the show would take over an hour to show...unless they use a lot of time lapses...
