Friend told me about a drink he had and could not remember what was in it but, they served it in a copper cup (about 2-3 x's the size of a shot glass). He said they said that it was for the flavor and without the copper glass, it would taste totally different. Anyone heard of this?

A Moscow Mule should be served in a copper mug. The drink is made with ginger beer and vodka, with a twist of lime.

Super refreshing as a summertime drink.

That sounds like a Moscow Mule to me. Is is made from Vodka, Lime juice and Ginger ale. It is thought that the acids in the lime juice and ginger ale interact with the copper to slightly modify the flavor.
