I love photography and I've heard a lot about photo blogs. Are they just a way to show your pictures to others? If that's the case, then is there a cost for them? I would really like to use one, if any of you know of a good site that will host them.

Okay first of all ,,keep in mind that all ur personal photos once posted on ur website/blog is there for everyone to copy,,and u have no futher control over how long will those remain circulating on the web here or there.
But there are ways to make it difficult(not impossible) for any layman to copy those.
now ur answer...it is completely free to make a photoblog.A photoblog is a website/blog with its own address(u will give) where u can upload any picture.
I will recommend u to first edit ur photos with quality programs like photoshop,google picasa(can download free at http://angle-mine.blogspot.com )
Picasa has an inbuilt system too ,to directly upload ur edited /nonedited work to ur photoblog.

There are alot of places out there who do photo blogs... and heaps more when you do a normal blog and post photo's to it. I've just set up one of blogger and it's great.. just a lil something to show off photo's i really like from flickr (not my own, i leave them for my blog lol)
