After being rejected would a guy keep talking to you if he cared about you, or would he just ignore you because you hurt his feelings. How can you tell if a guy really cared about you, or was trying to get you to put out.

Its obvious when a guy is only trying to get into your pants. He will tell on himself eventually if this is the case, go with your gut on this one.

for me... the easiest way to deal with feelings that are not being returned is to distance myself (ignore) the one not returning the feelings. If I believed there was something there worth the pain to keep or try to recreate then I would not just talk to her but pursue her... but for the most part if you reject me in a romatic way I will most likily reject you in a friendship way (so to speak)

I think if he really cared about you, he would keep talking to you even if you rejected him.

If he is still talking to you, you obviously did not hurt his feelings. Also, he must still believe that there is a chance in hell that you will give into his efforts.
