You know what, where on earth did you read that? Yes, Jesus has said to forgive others as you would want to be forgiven, but he has also said that violence is wrong.
Maybe you really need to read your bible a little more often and you will see that you actually of reasons to leave your husband without being banned from the church.
Your first step though would be to go to counseling and if your husband refuses, more power to ya.
But no a woman should not even take 1 beating from a husband, if a man truly loves and respects a woman, he will not once ever lay his hands upon her!!

No she shouldn't. You should get help for the both of you. You could talk to him about getting counseling. You could get some on your own and ask him to join you. You can get a restraining order and force help down his throat which might be the hard way but it's not as bad as being beat.
My religious thoughts are this.
1. FYI I do call myself a Christian although I would not say I am devout or fanatical and normally wouldn't even go there but you did and so I assume that is where you get some of your guidance.
2. You did say for better or for worse.
3. Yes He said 70x7 to forgive, not to be beaten that many times.
4. Does turn the other cheek mean that if you get hit once OK, turn the other cheek, get hit again then you may take action?
Like, hit me once, shame on you, hit me twice, shame on me!
I am not suggesting nor condoning a violent act on your part either.
Hopefully you can get him to see that what he is doing is wrong, address it, get help, and you guys can get to where this is all in the past.

Forgiveness that Jesus spoke of surely meant mostly small offenses when the scriptures say, "Do not keep account of the injury" and to "turn the other cheek". Major offenses could be forgiven if the offender was truly sorry and didn't repeat them. If someone were to keep poking you in the eye, would you continue to allow them to do that? Eventually you would suffer a severe injury. Same with spousal abuse. There is nothing in scripture that says one can't separate from an abusive relationship.
When I say 'you', it is in the plural sense. I'm sure you were just asking a general question.

maximum individuals will inform you that Jesus meant that there should be an limitless type of situations of forgiveness and that He replaced into utilising hyperbole to get this factor for the time of. at the same time as that seems a probable interpretation it truly is exciting to observe that interior the former testomony God punished the Israelites by technique of sending them into exile for 70 years to make up for the 490 years that they'd did not save the each seventh 12 months sabbath of the land regulation. 2 Chronicles 36:20 He took into exile in Babylon those who had escaped from the sword, and they grew to develop into servants to him and to his sons until eventually the institution of the dominion of Persia, 21 to satisfy the understand the LORD by technique of the mouth of Jeremiah, until eventually the land had loved its Sabbaths. all the days that it lay desolate it saved Sabbath, to satisfy seventy years. So replaced into Jesus declaring that on account that God had forgiven the Israelites for 70 x 7 years earlier He had had sufficient of their sins that this replaced right into a divine known that shall we use too? The Lord in effortless words is known with for confident, yet because it isn't going that we'd ought to forgive someone 490 situations that is fantastically threat-free to assert that we are called to forgive human beings extra situations than we they are going to probable ever dissipate.

The Word also says a woman should submit herself to a husband who is loving her like Christ loves the church. (Nourishing it and cherishing it...not beating it to a bloody pulp.)
You can still forgive while removing yourself to a safe distance. Forgiveness is a condition of your heart, not an "action" such as continuing to be a punching bag for some idiot.
If your question isn't rhetorical, then GET OUTTA THERE BEFORE HE KILLS YOU!

we are now in the modern era where beating is illegal, and whatever the bible said is just a guide or a reminder for us to live life in a straight way according to jesus teachings, and if your a wife being beatin by a husband even once doesnt need to consult the bible on what to do,you just need to use your common sense,

Yes Jesus said to forgive but i dont think he meant let someone kill you before you get yourself out of the situation. She could still forgive him but not be with him anymore. Jesus also told us to love our bodies and treat them with respect. She isnt doing that if she lets her husband destroy it...
