my boyfriend and i have been together for about a month now, he is not my type but his personality is OUT OF THIS WORLD. i care about him alot and i mean alot to him too, but the thing is, he has 3 kids, he has a record for Assaulting a Police Officer, and because of his record he cant get a steady job but he works at a fast food restaraunt here in town, i dont want to leave him but since we have been together he has made promises to me and hasnt kept them. for example: he lives about 35 miles from my house and we want to see each other and its about a good 45 min (due to construction) to his house and he has promised to give me and my brother gas money to come and see him and he wouldnt have it. as a matter of fact, he has lied 3 times about giving me and my brother gas money to come to his town so that i could see him. he also had promised to take me on dates that never happened. we havent slept together so i dont think that is the issue. should i leave? help me please n e one!!!!

From what you're saying, this relationship doesn't sound too promising. It sounds like you may be giving more of yourself than he is. The cons outweigh the pros. He has three kids, he has assaulted an officer, he works at a fast food restaurant, and he doesn't drive over to your house. The sad part is that this relationship is only a month old. Move on, it sounds like you could do better.

Letting him get away with small lies now, gives him the thought that he can do whatever he want and get away with it. Let it be known that you don't want any nonsense, but if the lieing continues, then thats a shame. But follow your heart and do what you feel will be best for you in the long run.

Do Not I repeat Do not start a real relationship with someone who lies to you. IT IS THE COMPLETE WORST!! believe me if they are lying about little things now. When you two are close he will be lying about bigger things, more important things. Find someone out there that is willing to take care of you and not lie about it. Good Luck!

I hope this is not a serious question. One month and he is already lying to you? He works in fast food? Police record?

I am not certain why you would want this guy.
