I'm 17. Four years ago i stopped going out hanging around with friends. I stopped talking in school, and basically shut myself away. Now i find it hard to go outside without getting panicky, and i have passed out once or twice. I cant seem to get along with anyone, and my mood can shift from calm to agressive pretty fast. I've done some stupid things on the computer, like trying to force girls to do sexual stuff for me on webcam, and threatening them if they dont. I find myself lying to people and being mean all the time, basically to see their reaction. I've started to get a reputuation as a bit of a pyscho, it was funny at first, but i dont like it anymore. I just want to go back to being the guy i used to be. What can i do?

First, I would try to ask someone who knows a lot about this topic. Some people on the Internet do not know what they are talking about, and just answere based on their knowledge on the topic, which is usually not very good.
I am just giving you a suggestion(I am not any kind of professional in this area at all) , but try looking up Manic Depression. The symptoms are as follows:
"Depression is a serious medical condition. Everyone experiences "ups" and "downs" in their life. But for some people the "downs" can outweigh the "ups." This can cause problems with everyday activities such as eating, sleeping, working, and getting along with friends. If this happens for more than a few weeks, depression may be the reason.

Depression affects a person's physical health, as well as how he or she feels, thinks, and acts toward others. It brings about a mixture of feelings and thoughts that can cause someone to depart from his or her usual behavior.

Depression is very common — it affects an estimated 19 million American s every year. Nearly twice as many women (6.5%) as men (3.3%) suffer from depression each year. The good news is that it is possible to manage the symptoms of depression. " -This was taking from a website, this is NOT my work.

slowly ease yourself back into society. Once you became a loner you pushed all way. Find someone that you can trust and talk to them. One leads to two and so on. The outside world will seem scary to you for awhile but you will adapt again and have a blast. You could have a few disorders or chemical imbalances. Seek medical help and rule out an illness.

You're clinically depressed. Shutting yourself away shows depression. Mood changes, hormones. sexual stuff, hormones or genetics same with mood changes.

YOU could be bipolar. Sudden mood changes from happy to sad or angry shows that.

Because I can't give you a subscription, you might as well go to a doctor who can diagnose you correctly and give medications if necessary.

Good luck.

P.S. What you have is a medical problem. Get a doctor not some counselor. However, your anger can be both medical or just personal. I suggest going to the doctor first to find out which one to save you time.

Social anxiety and depressive disorder. Please get some help A.S.A.P. This condition can worsent with age. Also you are a teenager and your hormones are on overload they will chill out overtime which does not help your current condition, but try meditating and calming yourself prior before acting on your emotion. Also ask your friends how they cope with sudden outbursts. Stress has alot to do with withdrawl also. Stress from home, school or even work. Take time to relax.

1. do not take anyone's answer on here to heart, you need to speak with a psychologist or a psychiatrist, only they can diagnose you
2. it sounds like bi polar disorder or manic depressive disorder, on the one side could be new generalized anxiety disorder but your aggressive behavior is a polarized opposite
3. talk to someone with a degree and training, its great that you're notiving a difference in your behavior, your next step is to get some help,.

sounds like anxiety and/or even depression, I would talk this out with your parents, and see a professional, starting with your regular physician, Im sure he/she can direct you to a psycologist, It sounds like you dont need mood altering drugs, but someone you can trust to talk to. and dont be affraid to talk with them , a lot of young adults have problems, and the first step to recovery is admiting you need help, and getting it!

Your in my prayers, All the best!

Get some therapy ASAP (As Soon As Possible) look for registered psychotherapists in your area. Go to your G.P. (Family doctor) and try to express yourself to them, they will refer you to the relevant person for treatment.

Do not listen to quack diagnoses from unqualified people.
