Maybe not now, but maybe later on when Becks is out The Hot Stepper might....MIGHT come in and fill his boots. But I think that he should do what Becks did first . Win some titles, go to US and Asia to promote himself then he should come when he's around 29-32 to get where BECKS is now. You wouldn't want him to fade away would you?

No, I dont think many footballers will follow in Beckhams footsteps you have to realize that Beckham did not come to LA because he wants to promote football or all the crap he says. He is just coming becuase it gives him the perfect chance to launch an acting career when his footballing life is over. Cristiano is not the kinda player who would wanna come to LA I personaly believe when he eventually leaves United in a few years he will go to Barcelona.

Not if he's smart. There's no need to dull your skills here in the US when you already play so well against the very best.
Soccer has no passion in the US. He's in the right place now.
