I've seen this quote before, many times, but I don't fully understand what it means.

"live your own life, for you die your own death."

you are responsible for your own actions or deeds in this world. whether you succeed or not it is your own doing.

It's basically saying, that you should Live for yourself because if you're living for someone else they aren't going to be there in the end when your time is up.

i think that it means that, we should not let anyone tells what to do because in the end we will face the consequences.
