prob. because one is always learning..willing to learn more ..and not claiming to know it all....

it definitely means that just by going to school, you can't possibly learn what life may teach you down the road. you learn everyday, from your experiences, from other people, from just about anything, and it's a process that never stops. the world changes, so do the people, and so do the things that need to be learned.

Samuel Clemens once advised we should "never let our schooling interfere with our education." And life is most responsible for our education. Schooling can only prepare for so much. Life has its own agenda for each of us, and perhaps that person has chosen apprenticeship to education over schooling. That's what I gather, but my answer is but one among a plethora of opinions, beliefs, and ideals. I'm just sharing what I feel so you're welcome to relate in any manner that suits you.

for me it means being very observant of many different aspects of life, say people, situations, events, what not, and and trying to learn from and about as many things as possible.

they mean they are always learning all the things happening to them in their entire life. no one knows everything and no one is perfect, so the best way to survive in life is to learn!
