Why is it that the guys here are all shallow ....and the girls seem to have low self esteem?

girls have low self esteem because guys are shallow; guys are always so picky with woman.. this adn that.. they seem harsh.. wishing for the prfect body.. over the littlest flaw they make a big deal out of it.. girls can be like this too.
but usually with girls they are emotional... i must admit girls and boys do think a lot differently.. but all you need to do is make a girl feel special.. and her self esteem rises and its something good.

Maybe because when they express true feelings and things that they perceive as real problems, people like you say they are shallow and have low self-esteem. Then they question themselves as to whether they're abnormal and hopeless.
Everyone is different, and each person has different strengths and weaknesses. If you're perfectly happy with everything in your life, you are very lucky.
Stay away from the Singles and Dating topic if you think all the people who post here are worthless, which is what your question implies.

I don't think all the guys are shallow and the girls have low self esteem. Everyone has problems and sometimes it is best to tell someone and get advice. If you keep it in it will just build up and you eventually lash out at someone. But anyway, We all have by or girl problems and it is better talking to someone you don't know then talking to someone that knows you very well.

because people here are honest among themselves, you seem as if you know everything,and that you dont need help,but we are here and we answer and we ask because we still believe in humanity and that others can still care for us and i still could care for others even though they dont know me
plus asking my questions about life and all those things i am curious about helped me learn a lot about what life is, and on some occassions it really helped me decide what do to. sorry for you, if you cannot appreciate the concern and respect of others
