It doesn't sound like money will be a problem for you. Usually, the problem is being able to transfer the credits that you have already earned. Unless you are transferring within the same university system, count on having to re-take some classes. It's usually because the class numbers are different or that that class just isn't offered. If the class isn't offered, there's little chance that the university you are transferring to will accept those credits. Most big universities have a section of their admissions department that is dedicated solely to helping students transfer in from other schools. I would contact them. They can give you all of the appropriate information.

Just make sure you notify the financial aid department or loan provider of your move. Sometimes they can lose track of you and then since you are no longer taking classes at the previous institution they will expect you to start payments. Usually they know when you transfer but it's better to be safe.

I have transfered colleges several times and my student loans always followed where ever I went.

You will have to fill out paper work to have your award moved to your new school.
