Well, I'm a Bible-believing Christian and I've been taught that my body is to be used to worship God. Premarital sex would be sin because that would be a relationship that not be honoring/worshipping God so it's definitely wrong. Sex was created to be enjoyed between a married couple. That was God's purpose (aside from the pregnancy part of it) for it.

And I'm not off the hook with ANYTHING. Trust me. I get in trouble just like any other teenager. I don't think I'm above non-Bible-believing Christians nor do I use that fact to get myself out of trouble.

Premarital sex is wrong. Sometimes, even Christians make mistakes. Everyone wants to be loved, don't you think?

“Do you want real love?”

If genuine love has escaped you thus far, if think you’ve already found that perfect someone, or if regrets and confusion have made you wonder if the love you’ve dreamed of really exists, read on.

If you’re like me, you’ve been told that sex is bad. But when you ask why, you hear something like, “It’s just bad, so don’t do it,” or “You’ll get a disease or get pregnant!” While I’m sure you realize that sex has its consequences—and they might be bad if they happen—these reasons aren’t always convincing.

Our generation has been taught how to avoid venereal infections, but what we really want to know is how to find, build, and maintain a relationship of real love. Sex is supposed to be a great gift, so it’s easy to get tired of hearing about the diseases and unwed pregnancy rates. If you’re ready for a different approach, and you want the gift of sex to be as great as it was meant to be, read on.

“How do I find love?”

Everyone wants love. Everyone longs to give himself or herself to another. We’re made for love, and that need in us is so deep that many would rather risk getting pregnant or getting an STD than live without love. We may be willing to take these risks because the world tells us that sex equals love. Then we see relationships in which sex destroyed love, and we wonder what went wrong. The only solution capable of breaking through this hurt and confusion is the virtue known as chastity.

“What’s chastity?”

Chastity is a virtue (like courage or honesty) that applies to a person’s sexuality. It means that you take all of your sexual desires and order them according to the demands of real love. For example, when you love a person, you make whatever sacrifice is best for them and you do whatever is necessary to keep from harming them. Chastity means that you take this definition of love and apply it to sex.

Some think that chastity simply means “no sex.” But that’s abstinence: focusing on what you can’t do and can’t have. Chastity is what you can do and can have, right now: a lifestyle that brings freedom, respect, peace, and even romance—without regret. Chastity frees a couple from the selfish attitude of using each other as objects, thus making them capable of true love.

Why so much animosity toward ALL Christians? I believe that premarital sex is wrong, like it says in the Bible. I am not off the hook for any of the sins I have committed, but I believe that if I ask forgiveness for my sins, God will forgive. Being a Christian doesn't mean I must be perfect, it means I must strive to be as much like Jesus that I can. Just like your question - my first reaction was one in anger, because I am sick of everyone putting me down for trying to be a Christian. I am not mean to you because you believe differently, and I see no reason for you to be ugly toward me. I wanted to respond in anger - of which I am very capable of doing. But I don't like me much when I am as mean to others as they can be toward me. I hope that helps answer your question and maybe you won't be so judgmental in the future.

Most of the "laws" given in the Bible which pertain to love,
marriage, laws against a neighbor, how to dress, what to
eat, --many of these same laws are found today...such as
do not steal, do not kill, etc. These laws were all found in
the Old Testament and were dealing with the childen of Israel,
or the Hebrews. These same laws are kept by Orthodox
Judaism of today. There are many, many laws.

This is not to be confused with the New Testament which
was dealing with Jesus the Christ, or the Son of God,
sent to Earth. He never really taught about laws, but rather
taught the people how to love each other, and to live
together in peace and harmony. He taught from the
perspective that the destuctive things we do, not only hurt
our enemy but eventually hurt us. The Lord's message was
a message of Love and forgiveness and living together
in peace. As regards intercourse prior to marriage,
Read the Sermon on the Mount--and you will understand
a lot of Jesus' teachings. Most of the rules for daily life,
The Apostle Paul called sin were again teachings on
lieing, cheating, deceptions, adulteries, etc. But one must
remember that Paul was so dedicated to his ministry
that he denied himself everything, including the pleasure
of women. In that time, women were considered to be
owned, and any man or husband could treat her as he
wished, but the sin for adultery under the old law was
stoning by the community until they BOTH WERE DEAD.

We are talking of extremely personal interactions
between a man and a woman. The rules that applied
2,000 years ago do not apply today. The modern day
church stresses chastity and it may work, but in this
modern society I doubt it. (My own personal view)

Wrong, unless you stay with the person.

Indiscrimanant sex is wrong in ALL religions except Atheism, Satanism and Pagism.

Hindu's don't accept it. Muslims don't accept it. Buddhists don't accept it. Sikh's don't accept it. Jews don't accept it. Christians don't accept it.

You have SEX then YOU are MARRIED and can't separate, except as follow:

For ADULTERY (they are caught doing it with another)

For celebacy (you don't every engage again or marry again until your first partner comits ADULTERY or dies)

He sticks it in you or you stick it in her, INSTANT MARRIAGE FOR LIFE.

Or you're an animal, like some dog or cat doing it in the alley because you are in heat.

80% of the Animals in the world are NOT MONOGOMUS.

One night stands.

One night stand christians?

Go tell a Priest or Minister that's what the religion is all about.

GO SAY IT IN CHURCH

What, you afraid.

GO STAND UP FRONT AND SAY I HAD SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE AND I'm WITH GOD AND JESUS AND I MAY DO IT AGAIN WITh SOMEONE ELSE

Go do it!

Let's see how much GUTS you have!

Yes it is wrong. Why do you think Joesph was afraid Mary would get stoned to death? Since Mary wasn't married and she was preganant people assummed it to be prematital sex. It was a sin. Back in Christ's time it was punishable by death. Today, being a Christian, I still look at it as a sin as do most Christians, but society accepts it.
