you have 2 unaltered males in the same household that is a timebomb waiting to happen . Take and get them both fixed. That should solve your problem if not you may have to end up getting rid of one to a new home . sorry but that is the way things are . I hope I helped.

Firstly, chihuahua's are notorious for their attitudes. Plus at 6 months of age they are getting their hormones. My mom has 16 dogs and most are males and all the males are neutered (her females are not). And she told me that if they weren't they would fight. That is the same as with unspayed females being together. They will fight.

I don't think that is the problem-they are trying to determine who is top dog-If they are doing harm to each other that's a issue you need to deal with asap- if they are making lots of noise and showing their teeth but not really hurting one another- the issue will probably resolve itself with one becoming the pack leader. There are some good books on training-that deal with this problem

maybe... I have a male dog and he was actually more hyper right after surgery then before we took him in.. And he was running around and jumping all over us and still does..


but it might calm them down

i think that may solve the problem. i've never had such a strange case before, all my dogs really like each other. So i guess maybe that will help.

I bet it will if not at least slow it down. There are many health benefits to fixing them too.
