Nothing wrong with fantasy.

Do not, however, under any circumstances, act it out in real life.

The teacher could get fired - for life. And that's after he gets out of jail. You are what older guys call "jail bait".

You and he are not equals, and a love relationship should be reciprocal. He's in a position of authority over you, which means that even if he's the nicest guy in the world, he COULD take advantage of you, which is why we have sexual harrassment laws. You wouldn't be feeling harrassed if he paid attention to you, but by law, he would be.

I saw this happen in a high school one of my friends went to, and the girl(s) felt pretty stupid having caused the guy to end up in jail. I don't know how he felt.

Also - this is strange, but I've seen a lot of girls fall for their college professors in college, and it rarely worked out to anyone's benefit, even if it was no longer "illegal", just against college policy. The girls tended to the more intelligent and interesting girls, and if they actually stayed together after graduation, she quickly found out that her "god of the classroom" was really a wimpy college professor and that there were a lot more interesting guys out there.

None of your classmates can compete with your "god of the classroom", of course, and that's a shame, because they're your buddies and potential future mates.

Anyway, you're not weird, but I hope you can just make it an opportunity to enjoy working hard in his class!

Honey, don't worry about it. It's normal to have a little infatuation for a teacher when you're in school. Like you said, you don't like him, it's just an infatuation. You won't act on it. It's perfectly okay. Don't stress over it - it'll eventually go away. And for now, it's fine to just think he's hot and not do anything about it.

LOL i have been there, and i have been there BAD! My teacher in grade 8 was soooo hot! and i dreamed of him all the time. Mind you my infatuation got out of hand and i bragged to a friend that i thought he felt the same and omg he found out and wasn't very happy about it and in the end he was a friend and i realized i valued his friendship cause that is all it would ever be and i respected that he respected me. So story goes, Don't think he will go for you cause that would be sick and just keep it to yourself! no damage will happen that way at all! lol happy dreamin!

It's called a crush. I think it's perfectly fine for you to have a crush on a teacher. I think we all did. Just realize that although he may be ever so dreamy and all the things that fantasies are made of, he is not "available" to you.

as long as it doesn't progress beyond infatuation. But don't worry, almost (if not) everyone falls for a teacher of some sorts.

NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! I HAD A CRUSH ON ONE OF MY TEACHERS WHEN I WAS ONLY IN THE 6TH GRADE! I THOUGHT, AS DID 99% OF THE OTHER GIRLS IN MY CLASS, THAT HE WAS ALL THAT! YOUR FEELINGS ARE PERFECTLY NORMAL!

Perfectly normal. You just shouldn't act on it and if you did, he should tell you no (gently perhaps, but leaving no room for doubt).
