I'm looking to start a business doing taxes and want to set my fees at 50% less than H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt. I can't find a detailed list of their per form charges.

I really don't think that you will be able to find such a list. I can tell you that the average price for a basic return is 80.00 at places like that a simple 1040ez with efile is 100.00 at Jackson Hewitt! I recommend that you call several of their locations and ask for their fees and keep in mind that people don't look for the cheapest preparer they look for the preparer that helps them the most at finding credits and deductions and really don't care how much they pay for it. No one would give you such a list, it is proprietary. You can get an estimate for a particular return from any of their offices.

You can't, they charge a percentage base fee which varies depending on certain client criteria.....income etc...
