Yes. About 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon in about 6 to 8 oz of water. Drink it slowly. If you have what feels like a "sour" stomach (too much acid) the baking soda interacts with the acid and turns into salt and "gas." The salt will be absorbed into your system. You'll burp up the gas and be done with the sour stomach.

As said baking soda is good to relieve indigestion or gas. Ginger is good for an upset stomach.

Diet ginger ale would be the best for upset stomach. Ginger is nature's remedy fo nausea and it works really well. Obviously, diet is best for a diabetic. Ginger pills (found in any store where vitamins are sold) and ginger snaps (maybe not such a good idea for a diabetic) will also work. EMT

It does calm an upset stomach.
1/4 tsp and COLD water, 1cup.
It's really good for what you did bad to your tummy.
