Most insurance companies view weather related accidents as follows. I was once told by an insurance adjusted that if weather conditions are unsafe & you have an accident your rates will definitely go up at a ratio equal to the amount of loss. The reason for this is Insurance companies feel that if the weather conditions are that unsafe you have no business driving in the first place. If you have an accident & it is related to bad weather expect to pay for it in premiums

The insurance companies handle accidents by putting up premiums.

hmmm.. adjusters are solid yet not ideal, and your vehicle is 3 years previous. the position became the right result? if the door became not hit, and if the motorcar's pores and skin isn't pushed in the route of the front, then the window would or received't be reported to be typically brought about through the right result. If the door and the front bumper pores and skin are touching, the right result became complicated adequate to knock the window off beam (which isn't too complicated to fix, through how) or basically knocked it out of alignment. have your mechanic supply you a written opinion on it and fax it to the adjuster.
