We are near the end of time. It will be a little longer I believe, for the Bible says it will be like the days of Noah when Jesus comes. And in Noah's day everyone's heart was set on evil all the time. That is not the case yet. Plus the gospel must be preached to the whole world. But Jesus said, that he will come like a thief in the night. And remember, when our lives end, the next thing we see is Jesus' second coming. So that means at max. we will all see Jesus in about 80 years or so.

A true knowledgeable christian would know that they, personally, are NOT at war and can always expect to experience peaceful outcomes no matter what is going on around them. They observe only the things that serve them in good ways and they can be sure that they'll be the furthest away from harmful conditions.
Strong, faithful christians need not ask questions like these because they simply KNOW what the answers are.
We are no doubt living in perilous times. We are living in the days of the end of this system of things.

When I was 15 or 16 everybody was talking alot about the rapture being any minute now. Whatever was going on in the world was sited as the evidence. That was quite awhile ago. I love God more now than ever, but frankly I am tired of preachers using the end times to scare people out of hell. It is really too easy and is a cop-out, as opposed to really convincing them of how great God is and how wonderful it is to walk with Him every day, end times or no end times. If the end times scares a new believer and causes his conversion, then what happens when it doesn't occur day after tomorrow? We have probably done him or her a great disservice, and maybe caused them to be in danger of backsliding.
Another related issue- the Bible teaches a rapture but never uses the actual word. But it absolutely does not teach a secret rapture. It teaches a rapture when everybody knows exactly what is happening, and the heathen cry out for the rocks and hills to hide them from the wrath of God. Thessalonians clearly says that the Lord will not return until the Man of Sin is revealed first (the Antichrist). So this any-minute stuff, this secret rapture stuff, this "I wonder what happened to Mom and Daddy" stuff that end-time whores have made up out of whole cloth, seems to me to be obviously contradicted by Paul in Thessalonians. But, like Jesus said, "Wisdom is justified by all her children."

As a basic Christian, I don't feel the end times is near. There's lots of life yet in us human beings before we get to the human beens stage.

Universal truth, if you believe this world will end - everyday that passes brings us one day closer.
Actually all the prophecies are in place or almost in place.
Just the other day I read Jews from India returning to Israel. When all the scattered Jews have returned to Israel I think the required fulfilling of God's prophecy will be in place.
If I were you I will not hesitate to :
-Repent of all your sins and ask forgiveness from God,
-As Obedience - Receive Christ as your Saviour ( Fully believing that the death and resurrection of Christ on the cross, redeemed you from eternal separation from God and give you eternal life in Heaven.
-Get a Water Baptism which is also obedience as even Christ submitted to it as obedience to His Father(represents dead and resurrection) -being born again.

I do agree that we are at in a Spiritual Battle between Good and evil. And the devil is in a panic, knowing he has but a short time.
I agree that the end is near, even at the door. and we need to prepare ourselves for the second coming of Jesus.
The Bible says to "let no man take your crown". So we need to not be discouraged by these scoffers that Jesus said would come.
God Bless & keep the Faith !

Yes we are at war but it is not our war to fight. Examine all the chapters of Revelation and you do not see at any point the Christians of the world arising in holy war and fighting off the infidel ... err, so to speak lol.
The war is evil against good and it is God's to fight, not ours. Perhaps you should make that clear when asking a war-type question :)

The end of what times?
The end of the Christian world, the end of the human race, the end of the Planet Earth, the end of the Solar System, the end of the Milky Way, the end of the "Universe" or maybe the end of your life?
Remember that the concept of "time" is a human invention.

All of the good people will be gone before the end comes... so no I don't think we are near the end of times. Then again, God said only he will know when the end is to take place... so your guess is as good as mine.
