A female cow is called a bull or a steer. A bull can make calves (babies) a steer can't. You can tell by looking at the back end of their undersides...just like a dog you'll see their "boy stuff". And yes a cow(a mother) or heifer(young female who hasn't been bred) has udders.

well a female cow isnt called a female cow it is called cattle.males are bulls.
cattle have udders (not utters) and the bulls have... well their thing.
bullz also have horns. some types of cattle have small horns. most of them dont.

There are no male cows. "Cow" is the term for female cattle. A Bull is the male.

males have these things called horns on top of their heads, the females have utters while the males have a penis. they are also quite larger than the female cows as well.
