I like a guy I work with and we're close. I'm probaly the closest of all the people there to him. He flirts with me. He's 2 years younger and shy. He came into work today to pick up his paycheck and was with a girl. He barely acknowledged but this was when she was waiting for him. He had lunch with her but when someone asked him if he had a g/f the other day he said no not right now and said he didnt like anyone at his school. (I dont go to his school) Do I have no chance and should I ignore him next time we work together to see if he even cares. I dont know, he doesnt make sense to me?

I dont know if its his sister but they didnt look alike and he didnt pay for her...ugh I like him so much its killing me

Maybe you guys are close only from your standpoint. Maybe what you think as flirting isn't that at all. Maybe that's his nature to behave free with you because he may view you as a friend and only that. When he arrived with a girl to pick up his paycheck, she could have been a sister, a cousin or a friend. He may have denied having a girlfriend because he might feel it's no ones business what goes on in his private life. If this guy is someone you work with, it's not a good idea to have an affair with him. What would you do if it doesn't work out? Will you be prepared to quit your job and go find another one? Why would you ignore him? That wouldn't prove a thing. When and if he ever tells you that he cares for you in a serious way, then that would be the time to think about him. Right now, he's your co-worker and in his mind that could be all.

No don't ignore him if your close to him then you shouldn't be mad at him. If YOU asked him if he had a girlfriend and he told you no then I would be mad. But don't show your jealousy because that is immature. Younger guys don't know love like older people do. If you really want to know if he has a girlfriend then ask him. i don't think you should ignore him because if your close then you can talk to him about anything. Talk to him and see how he feels.

well...you said that he is shy so he might not be able to approach you to ask you out. And considering that he said that he doesn't have a girlfriend, then that girl you saw him with is probably just a friend of his. maybe you should drop some hints that you like him. or just flat out ask him out. guys get kind of stupid and don't no when we are interested some times so we have to help them out a bit. and since he is younger, he might think that he has no chance with an older woman. i hope everything works out for you

dont ignore him. when you make guys jealous they get huffy and lose interest. Just flirt with him a little bit more, get closer, and see how things progress. Learn how to make him smile. That girl could've been his sister for all you know. Enjoy being his friend while you talk to him to see if he could be more than a friend.

Im a guy too.....the attraction that u feel is just an infatuation actually,but its up to u if you wanna grow it more seriously.....things may change you knw....ur not sure who was the girl she has been eating lunch with...u might just ask him who she is..to just finish the burden in your heart.Who knws this guy cares for u too.....ehehehe.try to use ur girl instincts........if im the guy im really stupid not to notice u......

totally dont ignore him becaus ehe doesnt know exactly that you have a huge crush on him . he only thinks that. so just play along or as we say"go with the flow"

the ignoring trick could work if he likes you, he would see that and he would ask you why,but then if he does not really like you he would just get over they way you ignore him

Ask him why he acts shy around you and not with other girls........try talking to him and see how he reacts, if he doesn't care by them then Ignore him.............good luck
