Only if the person was responsible for the World Hunger. If the person was innocent then "No Way". That would be murder.

What's an INSANT person?

Please tell us you're in 4th grade, if we find out your a senior in high school we are in serious trouble!

Here's my answer:

Bill Gates is the Richest person in the world at 40 billion. If you divided his weath among all 6 billion in the world it's $700 each one time. That's enough to live on in america for 3 weeks or to buy food for one person off the McDonald's $1 menu for about 1 year.

If you took ALL the money alway from ALL the rich people you have a one time grant of $15,000 to each person in the world.

By my calculations of population vs. income, under World Communism each person would get an annual income of about $12,000 to $15,000

Now, what do you make or what does your daddy make a year. If it's over that amount, you READY to take BACKWARDS STEPS to feed the poor in the world?

What are YOU ready to GIVE UP to feed everyone equally.

And that amounts to 3 Banquet $1 TV dinners per day for each person, plus water.

No extra, no frills.

$3 a day times 365 days a year is about $1,100 a year in money. The rest goes to housing, electricity, water, heating, clothing.

The cost of housing is about $300 per person per month in a room the size of your bedroom. Shared bathrooms. For more space the cost is $500 a month.

Now if we PROVIDE everything equally and don't make you pay, then the LUXURY salary is more like $2,000 a year each. That means it takes 20 years to buy a car. 3 months to buy a nice TV set. A year to buy a good guitar.

Ready to be a communist!

My answer would be "No" I would never kill anyone.
What kind of book asks this type of question?
I would suggest praying for both the insane person
and for all the starving people in the world.
I would also suggest giving ones time and/or money to
worthwhile organizations that go around the world trying to
feed all the sick, dying and hungry people.
Gods ways work much better!!

It's an argument about Utilitarianism-sacrificing the few for the good of many. And no, I would never do that.

No, you would have to know the future to do that and people who know the future are the insane ones.
