I have coarse hair and I use either Redken's All-Soft shampoo and conditioner or Neutrogena's Triple Moisture products. They both help to soften the hair with avocado oil. And staying away from perms will definitely help!

it says use on toweled dryed hair, but me im not gonna get out of the shower towel dry my hair and put that on just to have to get back into the shower again, i use it like any other conditioner and it still works good, just make sure to keep it in your hair for a few min's, they have the salons all over so you should have no trouble finding one near you.
