Pretty much everything in the Bible about creation is what the scientists say and the Bible was around way before the scientists.

By scientists I mean the thinkers of the modern theories of how the world was created.

How exactly does science prove humans evolved from lower life forms? If it was fact, it wouldn't be Darwin's THEORY of evolution. Scientific FACT was recently proven WRONG when scienists collected dust from a comet. It used to be FACT that comets and the sun formed at different times and now scientists believe comets may have formed at the same time as the sun, which is basically what the Bible says.

The Bible doesn't say anything about light before stars. Genesis 1:1 God created the heavens (stars) and the earth, in the 2nd verse it says it was dark. in the 3rd verse it says that God created light.

I've said this before. Who's to say that the earth was created in 7 of our days. To us a day is 24 hours, one revolution of the earth. Who's to say how long a day is to God. what about the saying "back in the day"? Does that mean yesterday? No. Day doesn't have to mean 24 hours.
How about some of the people who are saying I don't know what I'm talking about actually take a look at the 1st chapter of Genesis. It says the earth was originally covered in water, then the atmosphere was created, and then land formed. That's what scientists believe. It also says that the land was gathered into one place (Pangea) and the seas in another. Then the Bible says vegetation appeared. That's what scientists say. Then sea life and birds were created. This is what the scientists say. Then living creatures that creep on the ground of every kind. Exactly what scientists say so far. Then humans to have dominion over the Earth. Unless you want to take the Bible literally

How many scientists do you know? Many of the scientists I know say that their faith and the faith of their coworkers have actually GROWN as they gained more experience in their fields. The scientists I'm referring to range everywhere from geologists to biologists.

Wow! These people are Harsh Man!You are technically right.I know you are talking about more modern science esp. after the telescope etc. God tells us He did create the Earth just not how He did it .But the revelation of many star systems (as in Job) and planets, shows us these little "Desert People " knew a lot more than are given credit.Such as "God sits above the Circle of the Earth(not pancake) ",and "God created the Earth and hung it on nothing" at that time the "Great Greeks" said Atlas held it up and the Hindus had a stack of elephants under it.Now who's Completely False!

>>Have you noticed how similiar the scientists theory on the creation of the world and what the Bible says are?<<
Yep. Both science and the Bible say the universe had a beginning, that we are all related, and that man came from slime. For more, there is a book written by a scientist called "Genesis and the Big Bang: The Discovery Of Harmony Between Modern Science And The Bible".

Some theories are accepted as the same as the creations....In Genesis there was an expanse in a dense darkness...since science believed that the universe is expanding...agreed...Job mentioned about the earth t was hang by nothing...then science proved it that the earth was hang.

There are a few paralells
God creates light, THEN the sun and the moon (Big Bang forms the universe)
God creates fish before animals (evolution)
God creates man (Homo sapien is one of the newer, if not newest species)
However, don't think that THAT proves everything. Proves that you're straining to reach somekind of happy middle ground so everyone will agree with the Bible, maybe...seriously, where did you think you were going with this?

The same thing goes for the End of the world. Scientist just discovered 50 years ago that the Sun will envelop the Earth and burn it to a cinder. There's a section in Revelations that describes that event to a tee. And the Bible knew this almost 2000 years before the Scientists.
God Bless You.

The bible says the world was made in 7 days (false), that God added each element within 1 day (false), and by timeline the earth must be less than 10k years old (false)...
So what parts did science validate? Of all the scientists within fields relating to our origins, less than 10th of 1% believe creation is even an option!

Really? Cause the bible says something about light before stars, and the earth before stars, and all that stuff that we know isn't true. And yeah, that's pretty much all the bible says about creation. Did you have any parts in specific that you were thinking of besides 'in the beginning ...' ?

I haven't heard many scientists say that the world was created by an invisible entity. They are generally not into fantasy.

Wow, because, "In the beginning the spirit of the LORD floated upon the waters," is just like, "For billions of years the Earth was inhospitable due to gas and heat."

There aren't any similiarities. AT ALL.
No scientist have ever said that the earth was created in 7 days and that all the animals were alive at one time.
