It looks like St. Mary Assumption in Joliet and St. Mary in Chicago and Oak Lawn were merged into Annunciation of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer Glen:

14610 Will Cook Road
Homer Glen, IL 60491
phone 708 645 0241
fax 708 645 0243

They should have all baptismal records from St. Mary's and even if they don't then they will know where they are.

With love in Christ.

Contact any Byzantine Catholic Church in Chicago and find out what happens with the baptismal records of churches that close. Very often they are either given to another church, or kept by whatever would be equivalent of a diocese in the Byzantine Rite.

Churches of whatever denomination keep those records forever.

You have to write the Church where you were Baptized, give the exactly date and name and probably pay a fee for a duplicate record.

Contact another church in the area for some information on church records. I bet they have information on how to obtain church records you request. Watch this movie and be blessed. www.mayyoubeblessedmovie.com

Find the closest Catholic church to the one that closed. They will direct you where to go.
