I've noticed a lot of relgious people, Christians in particular, ask the question "Why are athiests/agnostics in the religious category of Y! Answers?".
If you've asked this question...did you ever listen to the answer?

I've answered it but I think they have selective ears that only hear what they have previously decided they want the answer to be .
Many people pose these kinds of questions just to reaffirm their
shakey thinking and dismiss feelings of insecurity . So they are really only saying redefine me as I'm too weak minded to stand on my own .

Bravo for bringing this to the attention of Yahooians.
I'm not sure if they don't read the answers, or if new Christians/religious people keep joining the ranks and posing the question again. Probably the latter. (There are countless questions that are asked over and again.) Consider that Christians often go into the bi-sexual/transgendered forums to preach to the gay community. Do they "belong" there?
I am thankful for the patience I possess.

yes. It makes me wonder why Yahoo has not put the catagories of Athiesm and Evolution under the catagory of Society and Culture also.

If they have asked it, it was because they thought they already *knew* the answer; they were not seriously looking for one.
