I had a friend and same thing happen. It is hard to go on when your used to your mate and best friend. In all reality according to the head Dr's they say to go on keep busy get out be more sociable. I think when your ready of being so lonely and feel so alienated that you will come around. I think you should do something for yourself and spend time on you and making your life better and be stronger as a person. invest in time for you. join a gym or a activity to build up self confidence. When your not searching for a mate then one may come to you thru your good karma and energy. I would take all the pictures of you two down and tuck them away in a memoior box. take his number and picture of your phone so you cant dwell on the face or tempatations to call him. listen to music sad or happy wotever makes it thru your day. validate you for being not with him go thru the mourning and try not to beat yourself up over as to why your not together because sometimes men are pests. they have no emotions like worms and think that way to get you thru this. your not alone

The best thing after a 4 year long relationship is to find someone else, I guess a rebound guy, or just have some fun with your friends.

Depends on why you were dumped.

If it was for another woman, be spiteful, and sleep with his best friend.

If it was a mutual thing, take some time to get to knwo your parents and family better. They will always be there to support you.

The hardest part about leaving a 4 year relationship, is that you don't feel like you lost your boyfriend/girlfriend, but instead, your best friend. You'll get over it, and this too shall pass. My Grandma always says, "Things will be better the dayyou get married".

Good Luck!!

I think you should take things slowly. Give yourself some time and some pampering. Gradually get over the relationship. Try spending quality time with friends, rather than a partner until you're ready to go back to the dating world. Enjoy being single and have some fun!

Spend about 1 or 2 weeks crying and eating ice cream and chips.
I know some people say there are other fish in the sea. but if u feel how i felt when it happened to me u will need that 2 weeks. but try to pull your self together and do something u enjoy doing like hanging with friends for insistence.
♥ good luck getting over him♥

Spend at least 3 months getting yourself straightened out. Some new clothes, maybe a hair cut, do some good things for yourself. When you start feeling good about yourself - then you can start dating again. Remember you are a great person!
Take good care of yourself!

Don't blame yourself and don't rush into a new relationship and DONT try to get him back. If he dumped you then you don't need him. Hang out with your friends and enjoy life.

maybe reevaluate her life, consider why she was dumped, think of what justifications there were on both sides....
no u cant party right after u get dumped its not in human nature to do so...never have been dumped...in my case it was vice versa and good riddance might i add so there u go...i still reevaluated my life and blah blah blah so you should do the same.
contemplation is key to understanding ourselves which we must stop and do every now and then to prevent losing ourselves.
