i like this guy i work with and hes always talking to me and we're so close and he gives me signals that he likes me. I know he doesnt have a g/f but he came in today to get his check and barely said hi and was with some girl. I am not normally the jealous type but in this case I am. Whats going on?

Its a sign that you do care about him.
1: You two got really close friends and your just confuse of your feelings, or
2:you like him but dont want to admit it.
Ether way, they probably arent together, he is just trying to make you jealous and its working.

Well it doesn't sound like you've ever made a move on him or hinted that one of you should go do something off the clock so it's completely understandable that he would continue to go after other girls in the meantime. A lot of people don't want to date co-workers anyway because of the nightmares that can result if things go south and they're still working at the same place.
Try to find a subtle way to see if he's single or not, and if he is, ask if he wants to do something low-key and unsuggestive like grab a cup of coffee or grab lunch. Once you have him at a table over lunch or coffee then you can probably find out all you want/need to know.

"signals"? Those are vague and can perceived the wrong way. Maybe he is flirting with you to see how you feel or if you would be open to more, but YOU are sending "signals" that he interpreted wrong. And if you didn't know who the girl was with him, how do you know it wasn't his sister or a family member? Or a friend's girlfriend he was giving a ride to. He could have been on the way somewhere and had things going on in his mind and he didn't intentionally mean to be rude. Why not ask him? Like, "hey, your new girlfriend is pretty" and see what he says.
And if you "like" him so much, why haven't you asked him out?

If you really like this guy, and he's not making the moves, then you should. Just ask him out for a drink or dinner or something. Then you can find out what's really going on. Hey, if the girl she was with is someone he's messing around with, this is your chance to win him back and make it official.

Relax, you don't know who the girl is or what their relationship is, maybe he planned it to see what your reaction would be. Perhaps he's trying to guess your feelings about him. If you like him and he likes you start gearing your conversation towards things you have in common and drop comments like" that's why I like you so much"
or come right out with your feelings and be honest with him. He may be waiting for a sign from you. Men are sometimes so naive.

Well don't be jealous, you don't know if this girl is just a friend or a sister. Don't draw conclusions or assumptions so quickly, maybe you can ask him about her (the girl he came in with).

He either cares about what the girl thinks or has something going with her....He might like you, but it looks like you might be wrong about the g/f thing. If she was a friend or sister, he'd have talked to you like he always does, and even introduced you.

It could have been a family member, ie, sister or cousin. Also, he may have been preoccupied with something. See how he interracts with you next time you see him and give him some conversation to see where his head is at.

Well, maybe you could ask him. Or tell him how you feel. Life is too short to be afraid. Just be honest and forthright. The worst he can say is "no."
