i had a dream that my mom had me locked up in my bedroom at her house, she wouldn't let me out. then, a skinny girl w/short spikey hair showed up, and asked my mom if she and i could go for a walk, that she and i needed to talk. so i walked outside, and there, in my mom's front yard, hanging in mid-air, was a murky green hole with stars in it. i stepped into the hole, and felt myself being swept up and out of my body, but i found that it didn't bother me, that i was at peace. as i was going up, i thought "i must be going to my Summerland forever(I'm Wiccan), i wonder if it will look like that i think it will." at that point i looked up, and saw the greenest fields i'd ever seen , w/horses, dogs and other animals, and trees w/an impossibly blue sky. then, i thought "i can't leave, i've got so much left that i want to do" and i thought about my wife. it was at this point i felt myself slam back into my body, and i woke up. what does this dream mean?

One sign of the dream and the details that you given me gives me clues about you and your mother's relationship. Do you ever feel like your mom is overprotecting you? To the point where sometimes you want to leave from the environment you are currently in. Do you ever feel like she is limiting to the people you hang out with or maybe she is trying to control everything about you. Bedroom means it could be something private about you that you aren't ready for this authority figure to find out. Blue sky means you're trying to think about the future. Green holes with stars means you are seeking independece from an authority figure or your mother. "walking outside" could mean walking into a new stage in your life. The skinny girl with spikey hair could be you in the future or what you want to become. There may also be a boost in your social activity as well.Or it could be a prophetic dream where a boy or guy is telling you how he almost died?

It seems that you have felt "trapped" and/or restricted with what you can or can't do. Although this restriction was likely placed physically and/or mentally upon you from your childhood (your mum locking you in your bedrooom seems to signify this), you seem to be still feeling this restriction today. This may be because it has been ingrained in you from childhood and/or your personality/thinking patterns now automatically restrict yourself and/or your job or situation is restricting you. This situation may be making you feel frustrated/unhappy.
The girl showing up may signify the time you started to go out with your wife and tried to break free from your restrictions and explored the world. She was someone you could talk freely to and you felt at peace with her. Summerland also represents true peace and happiness for you - something you aim for.
That murky green-hole is the unknown future. Even though you view that your afterlife will be everything you wish for, it isn't time for you to be there now. You still have a lot to live for in this world.
It's probably a time you and your wife can reflect about the future: are you both happy at the moment? Could life be better? Are there changes taking place or choices to make? There's still so much this life can offer to both you and your wife (it is obvious you love your wife as this is the first person you thought of after you woke up). You yourself may have to take a plunge into the unknown in order to find the true peace and freedom you want inside and long for: it is the unknown but if you don't go for it, you won't have a chance in obtaining it.

Are you sure it was a dream or something called Astral Projection? While I don't agree with her about alot of what she writes about in her books, Sylvia Brown writes about "dreams similar to yours. It might be a place to start to do some research about this subject and find the answer you need. Blessed Be.
