Did Saudi Arabia attack the U.S. on September 11 2001? Of course not, but the vitriolic teachings created an environment conducive to extremism that inspired 15 young men to kill themselves and 3000 others.
The fear is not state to state violence, but assymetric warfare carried out by individuals, who may or may not have covert state aid.
Your question posits a false choice:
1. Iraq will attack the US if we withdraw (exceedingly unlikely)
2. Iraq will not attack the US if we withdraw and would, therefore not be a threat.
This ignores the reality of the current world and the prevailing tactics utilized by the group in question.

Iraq couldnt have attacked America before the war started if they wanted to. They only had a handful of planes left, none of which could reach the United States. They had no Navy. Just a rag-tag beat to death army. The thought of Saddams Iraq being a threat to America is comical.

No, but Bin Laden is still out there. We allowed the leader who organized the 9/11 attacks, who was in Afghanistan, get away so we could invade Iraq. Iraq had no connections to terrorism. So, I don't think Iraq is a threat.

Nope. They'll collapse into a bloody civil war with ethnic cleansing, involving many of their neighbours (Iran on the Shi'a side, practically everybody else on the Sunni side). This could escalate into a regional war in which oil exports dwindle down to almost nothing and oil reserves are torched, as in the 1990-91 Gulf War. Americans will end up paying more for gas, heating oil and plastics, and you might begin to see a return to the lineups of the 1970s...

But no, they won't attack the USA directly.

Along with Spell-check, another thing that seems to have escaped you is that the US and Iraqi governments are working together, not as enemies. But there are people in Iraq who belong to and/or support organizations that will attack the US. I suspect if you learned what kind of war we're fighting you'd feel somewhat better about it.

Iraq--No. The terrorist will attack again and many will die. It's a matter of time and it won't be long. Unit ll we control and protect our borders we are venerable to terrorist attack. It will happen again this year. American interests all over the world are in jeopardy.

Viva Legal immigration, but protect our borders.

The majority of our euqipment such as vehicles, jets, weaponry is here along with the fact that we would be able to clear people out of the way alot eaiser then ii is to clear the Iraqis out of there. We tell our civillians to get out and nothing left but the enemy. Easy victory

The terrrorists that we are fighting against over there now will follow us over here if we pull out, not to mention that those troops that died for our country and for the sake of freedom and liberty will have all died for nothing if we pull out and leave things undone. But, the answer is no. Not Iraq, per se, but the terrorists that are there will attack us if we do pull out.
