Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I'm in college and have never had a boyfriend! I'm really shy, I'm really picky (at least I don't want to settle), and I'm not ugly, but I'm not a supermodel either (and the college I attend has more than enough of those to go around-and a lot of them are smart, too...)
ANYWAY, life gets really lonely. I have very few friends but good ones, yet they don't go out to clubs. Come to think of it, we hardly go out and when we do, it's always the same small group and to a place where you can't meet any1 (restaurants, movies). There's no way to meet great guys or even just cute ones to be friends with. I am in a Christian club but all the guys there are dating (practically married-type dating). They're great, but none of them have single friends to introduce me to, either. I just don't know what to do anymore. School isn't getting any easier and I have less free time. I don't wanna end up a crazy old maid-I don't even like cats! lol..

Awww, single near Valentine's day is really hard. I would recommend getting into sports or different clubs. Also, check out volunteer organizations--good ways to meet good guys with similar interests to your own.
And even if you don't have someone on Valentine's Day, you can have fun with your other single friends. My friends and I used to have chocolate-themed parties--the feel-good chemicals of chocolate really made being single alright, especially when combined with the good company of other single friends.

Do you feel like you are restricted to having just that tight group of friends. College is about meeting new people and having fun!
Talk to some new people in your classes, if your friends get offended then hey, they're not really good friends are they?
Join a new club, go to the gym more, they also have competitive teams inside the college, lower varsity ones.
I haven't had my first boyfriend yet either and Im starting university next year. I made that desicion myself though. I don't want a boyfriend. I want to be free and have fun, plus I doubt I'm ready for commiment.. Haha me.. commitment.. same sentence. NOT LIKELY.
Go to those clubs, meet new people and rock it. And the plus side of going to a club alone... yes it's kind of dangerous if you get drunk off your a** but you're also more approachable without having a swarm of friends around you.

Get over your self for 1 and if you want to go to clubs to meet guys you don't need your friend to go with you. it's not like they're going to holed your hand and tell you what to say while your hitting on a hot guy.

When I stopped trying it happened.... so for valentine's day go to a hospital or nursing home and deliver some valentine's to people who really need love.

CD, pastime, something he likes - even if or not that is clothing, shoes, electronics, and regardless of. the most to a valentines present is something that he ought to wish to have. It would not continuously could be soooooo romantic. in simple terms something that can make him satisfied and can make him be proud that you gave it to him.
