My friend had this dream the other night and while I'm normally pretty good at dream interpretation, I'm drawing a blank on this one.

She dreamt that she had two kittens, one was black and white, she couldn't see the color of the other one. The kittens were declawed and freshly spayed, they still had shaved and stitched tummies. She tells me she had a distinct air of innocence from them. In particular, she thought it was odd to have an entire dream devoted to kittens, and with kittens generally representing trouble, but these being "innocent", I'm a bit confused.

I'd like to hear someone's take on this.

cats are known for their intuition
kittens would be perhaps the beginning of a realisation of such intuition
but to see baby's ( no matter the species ) in any dream usually signifies a new development and in this case two new developments
so we have a 2 new paths or developments in her life that require some intuitive thought behind them
these have taken a lot of care and consideration in the past , but now it is time to rely on her gut feeling about them
you would have to ask her if she can relate to this
quite a hard one this one , a lot to add up and think about and i haven't even started on the other aspects but my head hurts now lol
but hope it helps xx

well other then the fact that the kittens had an air or innocence you didn't actually give any details as to what the kittens did, so there really isn't much to interpret in this post.

what i did note, though, is the declawing... while its common place and all, to declaw a cat, in the dream it most likely has it significance. Think about it, you're telling us you think kittens represent trouble (is this from a dream dictionary or because kittis are just playfully trouble makers?), but they've been declawed.. meaning they don't have the ability to creat trouble, and spayed... well thats just another solution to a problem that stray cats create... remember that dream dictionaries aren't always great to go buy when interpreting dreams. Its more about the dreamer him/herself then anything a book could tell you. if your fried says she felt an sense of innocence, i'd go with that, and then interpret the events in the dream from there... oh and fyi... kitties are so cute and innocent, how could they ever be considered trouble? =D

No one can tell you what things mean in *your* dreams without knowing what each thing means to *you*. Dreams are what we experience while the brain processes various thought, events, etc during sleep. We can't say, "Oh, dreaming of fish means someone's having a baby" because you have no idea what fish means to the person. If I'm allergic to fish in real life, the dream meaning of the fish is different than from the person who absolutely loves fish.
Your friend has to think about how "she" feels about innocence, cats, etc. And even that might not help since sometimes the brain symbolizes thoughts with unexpected things! The best advice I have is to read about "lucid dreaming." This is being awake while you're asleep. It's very easy to do (with practice) but you'll be able to recognize what you're dreaming about and what thoughts to which they are connected.
Dreams are not understood, because most people can't think rationally during a dream. By lucid dreaming, you'll be able to. For instance, a personal anecdote, I was thinking about exercising and improving my health when I began a new program. The dream manifested itself as a rhino running on an uncompleted highway.
Look up "lucid dreaming" and really do the exercises if you want to discover how your brain interprets thoughts.

The kittens are herself. There are two of them to confirm what she saw - thus she didn't need to see the 2nd one. The black and white suggests she is able to see right/left, moral distinctions. The rest is all about innocence and her self-image of being "safe" as a person to be around.

You're friends dream only occured so that she could describe it you before you met me online. Hello son, I'm your father. Your REAL father. Don't let that witch of a mother tell you otherwise. By the way, I'd be happy to pay your way through college. Did I mention that I own a chili factory in Pennsylvanian Dutch Country?

It clearly, definitely represents a time in her life in which she practiced surgery on animals and they have probably come to haunt her dreams forever.

I know that the only solution will be to shave her head and have herself surgically made into a giant cat-woman hybrid like that guy who made himself into that big lizard that i saw that one night on maximum exposure, also know as max-x, which is a super awsome show. so that must mean she must become a cat-woman.

Dreams do have meaning.......
Perhaps it means that she may be blind to someones appearance, that she knows of being innocent, that may cause trouble.
