Haha, I like your style. At first I didn't understand the question and what the point of 'that is absolute bullsh*t" was.. then I re-read it. You're looking for a real answer, not some canned God-made-the-world-so-he's-good junk.
For starters, God loved everybody in the world so insanely much that he decided that because everybody did such dasterdly deeds and had to be punished (I don't pretend to speak for God, but I don't think He was so into wiping out Sodom and Gomorrah), He decided to let them off the hook. However, God is fair, so that didn't work out well; somebody had to take the blame. He sent Jesus, who was perfect, to die and take the punishment for every single person who deserved it. I suppose you'll say that makes God bad again, for sacrificing his own Son for all of us. In the end, though, God didn't lose because Jesus came back to life and we could all not only live, but live with God, now that our sin had been taken care of. That's one good thing He's done.

Actually he murdered a lot of innocent people in the two examples you gave of him doing bad things to bad people.
And no, I don't believe the bible God has done anything good. Belief in him causes such events as the inquisition, the crusades, the Dark Ages, Witch burnings, numerous holocausts, etc...

Religion along with the belief in God gave people a way to force people to submit to order. Without it we would still be completely barbaric, not to say that we are all the way past that point though. These beliefs also gave people 'purpose' to their life.

God does not do bad things, He just fixes the problems that bad pple do and therefore other pple think that He did something bad. If you cant see the good that God has done all around you then you must be having a problem.

hmmm let me chose one good thing that God did for you ... how about ... made you able to post your question? Isn't it something of a wonder that you gained control of your fingers to herald your thoughts? made you able to remember a set of curves and lines and organize and compose them to words? etc etc ...

Yes, He sent His only son to die on the cross so we evil people could go to Heaven when we die even though we don't deserve it any other way. Don't be a blasphemist, you are alive and well, aren't you?
