Am 21, and my boyfriend is 38, although I love him and care about him deeply it bothers me that people always have nasty remarks to say about our age differance. I work, am in college, and mother of a 2 yr old (single mother). What can I say to people who have nasty remarks about our relationship?

I'm 49. My wife of two years is 25. One year old son. Everybody's pretty happy.

Agreed. It's your business, quit caring what others think.
however, look at his life carefully. Are you a bounceback fling from a divorce, or a trophy to parade to his friends? Do it for love, and you will be OK. otherwise, in a few years, he'll trade you in on a newer model.

If you are in the same place in life, then it can work. Otherwise, it probably will be pretty hard.
But as long as you are emotionally and career-wise on a similar level, this could work for you two.

i guess what they are tying to help you see is 20 years into the future - when you will be in your sexual prime - and he will be a senior citizen
