why are all of my dreams consisting of being back in elementary/high school all the time..like 80percent consist of this.

That is going to be a hard one to answer, cause i have been having dreams of being back in high school, and trying to get out of there for ages now. there is something there that needs to be processed, i can tell you that much. what it is , well that is what you need to find out, even when you do , they may come back every once in a while, but they will not bother you as much as they do now. the best way i can think of finding out is going and seeking professional help, i am not going to say it is going to be easy, or quick, cause our minds can really keep a lot of secrects from us. but you really do need to go to someone to talk this out, and find out what has been stuffed so far back that it keeps taking you back to school in your dreams.

It could either be because it was an unhappy time, and you still down deep have not gotten over it, or it was a happy time, and you miss it, and like going back to that time.

it means that subconsciously, you know that a significant (or even life-changing) decision was made at that time. you probably are regretting or rethinking it.
or, you are worried about a childhood friend.
or, you're watching too many 80s reruns right before you fall asleep.
